Artwork Approval Terms
These Artwork Approval Terms explain how artwork is submitted, reviewed and approved before your Branded Greaseproof order enters production.
Submitting Artwork
You may provide your artwork either by uploading it as part of your order, where that option is available, or by sending it to us by email.
Please provide the highest-quality artwork available and make sure that any logos, text, colours and design elements supplied are correct and authorised for use.
Artwork Proofs
Once we receive your artwork, we will prepare and send you a proof showing how your design is intended to appear on the finished product.
The proof is provided for your review before production begins. At this stage you may either approve the proof or request reasonable amendments.
Requested Changes
If you ask for changes, we will make the agreed amendments and provide an updated proof where appropriate.
Production will not begin until we have received clear final approval from you.
Final Approval
Final approval must be clear and unambiguous. This may be given through our online proof-approval system, by email, or by another written confirmation accepted by Branded Greaseproof.
Examples include confirming that the proof is approved, asking us to proceed, or otherwise clearly authorising production.
Once final approval has been given, you are confirming that you have checked and accepted the artwork, including:
- Spelling and wording
- Contact details
- Logos and branding
- Colours
- Design and layout
- Positioning
- Product size and specification
Responsibility for Approved Artwork
You are responsible for reviewing the proof carefully before approval. Where the finished product accurately reflects the artwork and specification you approved, Branded Greaseproof will not normally be responsible for errors, omissions or design choices that were present in the approved proof.
Production After Approval
Once final artwork approval has been received, your order may move into production immediately.
Any cancellation request made within 24 hours of final artwork approval will be considered only where production has not already started.
Once printing or manufacturing has started, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible. This is particularly important for express orders, where production may begin shortly after approval.
Colour and Print Variation
Colours displayed on a screen may not reproduce exactly the same way in print. Minor variations in colour, position, finish or production tolerances may occur as part of the printing and manufacturing process.
If exact colour matching or a particular production tolerance is essential to your order, this should be discussed and agreed with us before final artwork approval.
Customer-Supplied Content
By supplying artwork, logos, images or other content, you confirm that you have the right or permission to use that material for your order.
Branded Greaseproof may refuse to reproduce content where we reasonably believe it infringes third-party rights or is otherwise unlawful.
Relationship With Other Policies
These terms should be read together with our Returns & Cancellations Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
